Traveling south from the Galilee
After breakfast we will visit the old city of Safed and its ancient synagogues and the art galleries. Walking in the 16th century alleys of Safed is lovely experience that enables the visitor to enjoy Jewish art, ancient synagogues and outstanding mountain view.
Following Safed we will drive north Beit Shean, where we will see the remarkable remains of the Roman city Scythopolis with the hot bath, theater, cardo and more. The city suffered for a major earthquake in 749 BC that left its mark on the city that was once a cosmopolitan city.
after lunch we will continue to our last stop- National park of Megiddo
Megiddo was the most significant city in Canaan and an influential center of trade. In addition to palaces, temples, gates, and an advanced water system, the city had a great deal of power. This is evidenced by the remains of its palaces, temples, and gates.
