From Haifa to the Galilee- Jewish heritage tour

When arriving to Haifa your guide will be waiting for you as you disembark the ship carrying a sign with your name on. We will start our day with visit at the old city of Safed.

Safed is known as one of the 4 holey Jewish cities as well as the center of the Kabalah (the mysticism of Judaism). We will tour the lovely old synagogues and the art galleries.

We then continue to MItzpe Gadot to see a former Syrian post that was situated on the opposite side of the Jordan River. We will head on to Mount Bental, a volcano with a beautiful over look to Syria. And on our way back we will stop at mount of beatitudes (the Sermon on the Mount).

Back to Haifa.

• If you choose to stay an overnight in Jerusalem, you can than drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem and stop for a swim in the Dead Sea.

From Ashdod to Jerusalem

We will start our morning with a beautiful view from Mount of Olives over the old city and then we’ll visit at the church of all nations (church of agony- also known as Gethsemane, the place where Jesus was captured in his last night. After hiring a little bit of the Christian story, we will continue to the temple mount to see the dome of the rock. This is the place that until the year 70 CE the Jewish temple was standing. Today what we can see there is the famous golden dome in the heart of Jerusalem. The dome of the rock is the most holy place for Islam in Israel (no entrance to the mosque). We will then walk the Via Dolorosa until we get to the next we will see the Armenian quarter and then the Jewish quarter with the herodian mansion, the Cardo and the wailing wall.
