After an amazing Galilean breakfast we will start our day with a short walk along the Jordan River, we’lll understand why we call this little stream a “River”. Then we will see with our eyes the Syrian African rift and how it affected an old crusader fortress. Then we will ascend to the Golan and stop at a former Syrian outpost.

We then continue to Mount Bental, a volcano with a beautiful over look to Syria. From this place you will understand better the life of the Israelis and how small this country is.

Lunch we will have in Kazerin the “capital of the Golan”. We will see a light show that will explain the topography and history of the Golan.

For the end of the day we will visit the national park Gamla. We will see the ruins of the old city and hear the story that was told by Josephus flaveus about Gamla’s major part in the Jewish great revolt. Gamla is also a great opportunity to see vultures from a close distance, since it’s the biggest nesting colony in Israel.
