AA Jerusalem by night
Jerusalem by night
It’s true that many sites are close in Jerusalem in the night, yet Jerusalem has a magical and electrifying atmosphere at night. Therefore this tour will start at midday and will end in the night.
We will start with walking on the walls ramparts, we will feel like our ancestors who built the walls and we’ll see a remarkable view from above. Than when we step down we will visit the last supper room and King David’s tomb in mount Zion. We will walk through the Jewish quarter and visit the 4 Sephardic synagogues and the old Roman Cardo. From there we will continue to the Christian quarter to see the church of the Holy Sepulcher.
At that point it will be dark and lighted streets will get us in to the “mode” of holiness. We pass on to the Jewish quarter and of course the Wailing Wall.(Tour in the Wailing Wall tunnels requires booking 2 months in advance). Essential : hat & sunscreen (summer time) warm clothes (winter time), comfortable shoes, water, cameras, modest clothes for holy site (long sleeves and pants).
