Caesarea Akko And Rosh Hanikra
08:00 Depart Tel Aviv to the Westren Galilee stopping on the way at the old city of Caesarea.
Caesarea is an ancinet Roman city, that is situated on the shores of the Mediterranean sea. Exploring the city you will enjoy Roman structures such as amphitheater, hippodrome, hot bath and more. Caesarea is also the place where the only archeological item that mentioned Pontius Pilatus.
Next on our trip along the coast we’ll continue to Haifa for a beautiful view over the Baha’i gardens, the golf of Haifa and an amazing view all the way to the border with Lebanon
By the time we get to Akko it will be a perfect time for lunch that we can have in one of the restaurants by the water or even have a great Humus plate at the old market place.
Akko, known also as Acre was recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site for its remarkable remines from the crusaders era. We will be visiting akko in the knights halls, the templar unnel and the ancient port.
Our last stop at the northernmost point of the country – the grottos of Rosh Hanikra, we’ll take the cable car down to the grottos and enjoy the walk in the grottos where the sea touches the rock and creates wonderful caves and unique formations.We will also “touch” the border with Lebanon and start our 2 hours way back to Tel Aviv.
