AA Half day tour in Jaffa
Walking tour in old Jaffa and Tel Aviv
This is a 3-4 hours tour that combines the old and the new of Tel Aviv.
Our meeting point will be at the famous clock tower of Jaffa where you will arrive independently at the time that was decided. We recommend, renting a scooter or a bicycle that can be found anywhere around your hotel and ride along the promenade south until you get to Jaffa. This will be a great way to start the tour.
Our tour guide will take us throughout old Jaffa and share with us the history of this 5000 years old city. We will stroll along the nice clean alleys with the art galleries and archeology and make our way to the old port. We will visit Saint Peter church and learn about the biblical story related to that church.
After our walk in Jaffa we will walk along the flea market and maybe have the opportunity to find something old to buy.
Our tour guide will lead us to the old train station that is now known as a place of entertainment and restaurants but in the past was the first train in Israel. From there we will continue to Neve Zadek and Achuzat Bait- the first neighborhoods of Tel Aviv that today are very popular and expensive restored residential neighborhoods.
We will end our tour at the Carmel market where you can stay for lunch/ dinner or just to walk around and then independently rent a scooter back to your hotel.
